Jeremy Baum Trio

Born near Woodstock, New York, in 1971, Jeremy Baum began playing the piano at age five, and was playing classical piano recitals by his teens.

Jeremy’s trio is rooted in the blues and funky soul-jazz sounds of the late 1960s (think Booker T. and the MG’s, The Meters, Jimmy Smith!) His style is also informed by the current masters of the groove from the jam-band scene (Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Soul-Live, Derek Trucks Band).

On May 4th, 2014 Jeremy Baum was officially recognized and inducted as a Master Blues Artist in the New York Blues Hall of Fame.

Recently, Jeremy has been appearing with JB’s Go-Go Boogaloo Dance Party! A combination of Jeremy Baum – Hammond B3 Organ / Vocals, Chris Vitarello – Guitar / Vocals, Manuel Quintana – Drums / Vocals, Jay Collins – Sax / Flute / Vocals, and Chris Valdez – Percussion / Vocals.
