The Toneshifters

Established in 2009, The Toneshifters has headlined music festivals and music venues throughout the northeast!
The band is a mix of high energy, danceable music that they affectionately call “Swinginrockabluesabilly” – with a unique blend of guitar, accordion, latin percussion, bass, drums and renowned vocalist Chris MacKay – this band is a refreshing change from the usual musical farel
A New England Music Award nominee, The Toneshifters was recently featured in the “Music of America Podcast” worldwide as well as an E-zine Interview with Aldora Britain Records in the UK where six of their songs were featured on four different music compilations featuring top independent artists from all over the world.
Their most recent releases “Sun Session- Live Raw! Vintagel” and
“Alabama Moon” were recorded at the iconic Sun Studio in Memphis, IN and Fame Studio in Muscle Shoals, AL.
The band has recently added CT/NY Blues/Rock Hall of Fame guitarist Tom “The Suit” Forst to the line-up and are excited to see what the future holds with much more “Swinginrockabluesabilly” to come!
